The Story Behind SourceVizor
|
If you use Microsoft Visual SourceSafe like we do, you have likely
experienced "the wall". As your team grows - both in terms of the
number of developers as well as the number of development
locations - communication becomes harder. But there is no good
way within SourceSafe to see development activity in real-time. And
reports for project activity are nonexistent.
Forcing developers to send manual emails, or "just talk over the
cubes" diverts their time away from the project. Relying on the
limited reporting of SourceSafe does not provide adequate visibility
into what's happening on your project.
